Mel and Fabi have kindly agreed to share one of their recipes.

Natural Cough Syrup

  • Half onion cut into small pieces
  • Raw local honey
  • Glass container (jam size)

Place the onion pieces into the glass container and add the honey until it covers the pieces of onion completely. Close the container and store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Leave it overnight and you can start using it the next day. Take a teaspoon 3 times a day until the cough is gone.

Warning: Not recommended for pregnant women and children under 2 years of age

Melissa (Mel) is a holistic practitioner who uses kinesiology, a modality that addresses imbalances allowing the body to heal itself.
