  • 1 can chickpeas (about 250g cooked chickpeas)
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold water

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C and cover a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a food processor, combine the cooked chickpeas, tahini, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika powder, salt, and cold water.
  3. Blend the ingredients until you have a smooth and creamy mixture, scraping down the sides of the processor to ensure everything is well incorporated.
  4. Once the mixture is smooth, spread it onto the baking sheet to about 1/3 cm thickness.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Allow the crackers to cool completely before serving and cut them.
