There’s something really comforting about picking up a jar and recognising every ingredient on the label. No head-scratching. No “what on earth is that?” moments. Just real food, made by people who clearly care. That’s exactly the feeling you get with Church Farm General Store.

Based in the Northern Rivers of NSW, their whole approach is refreshingly straightforward: make food the way it used to be made. Using real ingredients. Grown where possible. Cooked with intention. It started small.. growing produce, making sauces, selling locally.. and slowly turned into a range of pantry staples that feel both wholesome and genuinely delicious.

One of the things that really stands out is how they handle sweetness. Take the barbecue sauce, for example. Instead of loading it up with refined sugar, it’s sweetened mostly with dates and apples, with just a small amount of coconut sugar to round things out. It’s still rich and smoky and satisfying, but without that cloying, overly sweet hit that so many sauces have. It tastes balanced. Considered. Like someone actually tasted it along the way (imagine that).

We’re excited to be stocking a selection of Church Farm favourites and encourage you to give them a try for yourself!

Barbecue Sauce

Smoky, savoury, and gently sweet, this is the kind of sauce that works just as well on grilled veggies as it does on burgers or roast chicken. It’s bold without being overpowering — a fridge staple, not a novelty.

Sriracha

Punchy and full of flavour, with a clean chilli heat. Perfect for eggs, noodles, or that one dish that’s missing something but you can’t quite put your finger on it.

Sweet Chilli Sauce

Sweet, tangy, and a little bit spicy, but not in a sugar-bomb way. It’s great with dumplings, drizzled over bowls, or spooned onto pretty much anything that needs a lift.

Curry Pastes: Homestyle Indian, Rendang, and Red

These are proper curry pastes — aromatic, rich, and deeply flavoured. Add coconut milk, vegetables, tofu, meat, whatever you’ve got, and dinner basically makes itself. No fillers, no shortcuts.

Sometimes the best food isn’t about trends. It’s just about doing things properly. And Church Farm really does.
