The holiday season is upon us, and with this season known for its excess, it’s great to find some natural and sustainable gift options at the Manly Food Co-Op…

Ordered especially for Christmas, we have beautiful individually packaged soaps made right here in Sydney. Seventh Tree soaps are handmade with ethically sourced oils and all natural ingredients, are vegan and cold processed. There are a variety of beautiful scents available in either a lotus, owl or plain square shape, each in its own decorative paper box.

Give the gift of beautiful skin! We have some lovely gift packs available from Skinmade, our fabulous skin care products from the Gold Coast. Skinmade uses only organic non-GMO, ethically sourced ingredients, Australian when available. The Hair & Body pack includes coconut and cedarwood hair serum, a cucumber and mint soap and bamboo face cloth. The Summer Love pack includes the Shea nut and vanilla body cream and rose geranium floral mist. We also have a sampler pack of their everyday favourites – castile & lemongrass cleanser, oat & lemon myrtle scrub, rose hip & cucumber serum and Vitamin E & balsam cream.

Encourage a healthy home with beautiful Queen B candles. This Brookvale based company uses 100% Australian beeswax with no added ingredients or fragrances. Burning pure beeswax candles supports a healthy environment by ridding the air of dust, pollen and odours whose positive ions bond with the negative ions of the burnt beeswax. In stock for the holidays are some beautiful hand painted pillars and Christmas tree shaped candles in addition to your everyday tapers and tea lights.

Back by popular demand! We have pre-filled gift jars filled with some of our delicious teas and wrapped with a festive ribbon. Look for Ginger Glow, Echinacea Boost, Green Tea Chai, Red Tango, Calming Tea, Peppermint Tea, and our house-made Indian Spice Chai.

Top your eco-friendly gift with an equally eco-friendly greeting card. Earth Greetings cards and packaging are made with 100% post-consumer recycled paper and printed with vegetable based inks. The ink contains no mineral oil, which can release volatile organic compounds and hazardous heavy metals. Card designs are inspired by Australian nature, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to Trees for Life to plant new seedlings. Trees for Life is a not-for-profit community based conservation and regeneration organisation. Find out more about this fabulous initiative at

Remember to bring your Christmas shopping list when you do your next shop at the Co-Op, these are just a selection of the beautiful gifts we have available for Christmas.
