Health and Safety

The Co-op is committed to creating a hazard-free workplace and we encourage all team members to also take responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

Team members must strictly observe and follow workplace health and safety rules, responsibilities and practices at all times. They must complete the NSW Food Authority Food Handler Basics course prior to their first shift and will complete the Safe Work training module during their first shift.

If an incident or injury occurs in the workplace, or you observe a workplace hazard, you must notify the Store Manager immediately and remove the hazard if safe to do so.
