Sad but true: Gaga’s yoghurt is no more. Both the coconut and the dairy—gone. We’re not crying, you’re crying. But don’t stress too much because there’s a new jar in town, and it’s a good one: say hello to Bondi Yoghurt.

Bondi Yoghurt literally started in someone’s kitchen by the beach. A family in the Eastern Suburbs got it into their heads to make yoghurt the old-school way: just good milk (or coconut), no weird stuff, plenty of probiotics.

They tinkered, tested, and fed it to friends until suddenly it wasn’t just “a bit of yoghurt for breakfast” but “we actually need to sell this.”

So they rocked up to Bondi Farmers Market with a few jars, and the locals did what locals do—spread the word until it became a cult favourite.

There are both coconut and dairy options on offer. The coconut version is silky smooth with just the right tang—creamy without tipping over into “this is basically coconut cream.” It’s dreamy on a pile of berries, swirled into porridge, or, let’s be honest, spooned straight out of the jar while leaning against the fridge door at 11 p.m. The dairy yoghurt?

It’s the kind of yoghurt that makes muesli taste like dessert and works just as well dolloped onto a curry.

For Co-op shoppers who care about taste and packaging, Bondi Yoghurt is kind of a gem. The coconut one fills the Gaga’s-sized hole in the dairy-free corner, and the dairy version is a proper, glass-jarred alternative to the usual stack of sad plastic tubs. Both are delicious, both are versatile, and both are tucked into jars you’ll definitely want to keep.

So yes, Gaga’s might have left the stage, but Bondi Yoghurt is here with the encore: coconut, dairy, and glassy goodness.. ready and waiting in the fridges.
